Yesterday, the new league season started for us. Our first game was against SC Sika.
If you check the result, it seems like an uneven game where we had no chance at all. But during the game it was a bit different. The first 20 minutes were good, they had no major chances, we played quite well, our feeling was “today we will win”. But then we conceded once, and let them score two more goals soon after. 0-3 at halftime, with quite low morale.
In the second half, we tried to change the game. We didn’t play well, but Sika had no real opportunities, while we missed a lot of chances. We conceded again, but close to the final whistle, we scored at least an “honor goal”.
The match was like this:
- 0′ – 20′: we are playing well
- 20′ – 35′: they score from every opportunity
- 35′ – 65′: we are not playing well, but they do the same
- 65′ – 80′: pushing hard and finally scoring
If only football would have a scoring system…
